You have now decided on the equipment you want and where to buy it from, now you have to decide which finance agreement is best for your company:

Lease Finance Agreement

This is a fully tax allowable, non-cancellable agreement where the term is usually about the same length as the useful life of the equipment. The Lessee is liable for maintaining and insuring the equipment for the period of a lease finance agreement. Lease finance agreements can be structured to suit your budgets.

Lease/Hire Purchase Agreement

This agreement is used for vehicles and high value equipment; a residual value (balloon payment) can be taken into consideration to lower the monthly payments. The term can be structured to suit your budgets.

Operating Lease

An operating finance lease is shown off the balance sheet and is where a residual value is taken off the equipment cost which keeps the payments low. This is attractive for companies who continually update their equipment and do not want to retain it at the end of the agreement.

Sale & Leaseback

A sale & leaseback is when a company can raise money from the sale of recently purchased assets, whilst still retaining the use of them. Assets must have been purchased within the last three months to consider this option.

Maintenance Inclusive Lease Finance Agreements

This agreement allows the customer to make one regular monthly/quarterly payment which would include both the equipment cost and the maintenance costs for the period of the agreement, allowing the customer to manage their budgets with ease.

Master Finance Lease

This is an ideal agreement for companies who are having equipment installed at different times. You sign one agreement with addendums. The payment for each addendum will be added to the original master agreement payment, therefore making one payment per month/quarter instead of several.
